14-week-old Hugo came in for his very first puppy groom, and what a little superstar he was! 🥹❤️ He was so, so brave throughout his groom, and those gorgeous puppy eyes… just look at them! 😍🐶

Puppy grooms are so important, even for short-haired breeds like Labradors. They’re not just about keeping their coat clean and fresh; early grooming helps puppies become comfortable with being handled, having their paws, ears and face touched, hearing the dryer and experiencing the grooming environment. ✂️🛁

Starting young helps build positive associations and makes future grooming visits much easier and less stressful as they grow. 💕.

Well done Hugo,you were an absolute superstar! ⭐️ We can’t wait to see you again for your next puppy pamper! 🐾❤️

🐾✨ Elmo’s transformation! ✨🐾

Gorgeous Elmo the Labrador came in with lots of loose hair and dandruff throughout his dense coat. After a thorough de-shed, bath and blow-dry, just look at that beautiful shine! 🥰✨

Labradors may have short coats, but they are heavy shedders and regular grooming is so important to remove dead hair and skin, keep the coat healthy and allow the skin to breathe. 🛁🐾

Elmo is such a happy boy with constant tail wags! 💙🐶

I groomed Bella today and honestly… we got enough hair out of her to make another Bella! 😂🐕 There was a serious pile of fluff left behind!

But why are dogs shedding so much at the moment? 🌡️🍂

As the seasons change, dogs naturally start to lose their old coat to make way for a new one. Changes in temperature and daylight hours can trigger seasonal shedding, and breeds with thick double coats, like German Shepherds, can really go for it!

Regular grooming during heavy shedding periods helps remove loose undercoat, keeps the coat healthy, reduces matting and can mean a lot less hair floating around your home. 🧹😅

Bella definitely left feeling lighter, fresher and very pleased with herself! 💕

✨ Dougie’s fluffy transformation! ✨🐾

Just look at the difference in that gorgeous chest! 😍 After working a little grooming magic, Dougie’s chest is now clean, fluffy, soft and completely knot-free. 💙

With the help of Peanut & Pickle shampoo and conditioner, their deshedding spray, and a good old-fashioned comb, we’ve brought that beautiful Sheltie fluff back to life! 🪮✨
