It's always fascinating how each type of pet reacts towards their food.

For snails, they droop their eyestalks downwards towards their mouths while eating because their upper tentacles contain scent and taste receptors that help them fully experience the food in front of them.
(And their eyes of course!)

This droopy posture is also a sign of comfort. It shows that the snail is relaxed and deeply engaged in eating something it really enjoys.

Do you own snails? We'd love to see a photo if so!

Did you know?

While adult White's tree frogs are famous for their deep, calm barking sounds, babies and juveniles that feel threatened can emit a surprisingly loud, high-pitched shriek to scare off potential predators.
