I’m back 👋👋

After a lovely holiday with family and friends I’m back and ready to get back into the work life swing.
I’m working my way through my messages and have just about replied to them all but if I’ve missed anyone please give me a nudge. 😉
Here’s a few pics of the local cats and dogs we came across and one from an amazing horse ride we did along the beach, it was so beautiful ☀️

☀️☀️ HOLIDAY TIME ☀️☀️

Just to let everyone know I’m away from the salon from now until 2nd September, it’s time for me to take a little holiday to relax and re-charge 😎

During this time I won’t have access to my phone or diary, but will get back to any messages as soon as I’m back.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Look forward to seeing you all when I’m back and hopefully by then it will be a bit cooler for our pooches! 🐶

🐾☀️EXTREME WEATHER ALERT ☀️🐾

With temperatures expected to be very high next week, I kindly ask that you avoid exercising your dogs before their grooming appointment. Arriving to their appointment as cool and comfortable as possible before will help ensure a safer and more pleasant experience for them.
The salon is equipped with heat reflecting blinds and a well functioning air conditioning system with water always available. However, if I feel the salon is becoming too warm for the dogs’ comfort and safety, I may need to reschedule appointments.
Thank you for your understanding during this period of extreme weather.
Likewise if you think your dog will struggle coming out in the heat please contact me to re-arrange. The dogs comfort and wellbeing are my priority.
Remember the pavements will also be hot

Routine and consistency is key 🔑

The lovely little Willow has been coming to me for some time now and it’s easy to forget just how anxious and quiet she was. Not keen on coming in, hiding in the corner of the bath , wanting to lie down to be groomed and trimming her pads and nails was not her favourite thing.

⏭️ Fast forward to now and she drags her mum to the door comes straight for a cuddle, stands like a princess for her bath and falls asleep having her face trimmed. Pads are no problem now, I think she’s realised it’s more comfortable not having that hair in there. Sometimes we get nails done sometimes we don’t but that’s fine! 🖤

Routine is key, we have the same routine every groom, no surprises, if she didn’t like something we would move onto the next thing and come back to it, not making it an issue and this has helped her realise she doesn’t need to be scared I’m here to make her feel good 🥰

It’s shedding season!

Cooper came for a mud massage bath, helping him shed all that loose fur whilst keeping his skin nourished.
