We offer a range of horses from homebred youngstock, imported mare lines, and some riding horses.

The lovely Ornella who we imported as a foal and sold as a lightly started 3yr old, showing how kind and gentle she is with her youngest rider. Nellie has been an outstanding example of a performance and family horse, many credits to her name under saddle with an experienced rider but a gentle soul for the smallest family members. 🥰

The lovely Hobart Demelza, who gained some good placings at the recent Trailblazers Championship. Her owners are doing a fantastic job of producing her up the levels. We love seeing her progress.

Looks who’s home again! Our lovely Merida came back from her loan arrangement last weekend. She was just a bit too much horse for a young child. Since she’s been back we’ve been out hacking and enjoying the countryside. We’ll continue to work with her in the coming weeks and polish up her education a bit more, and then I’ll have to make the heartbreaking decision to find her another home, much as I’m enjoying her at the moment. So stay tuned on her progress..

Lovely photos of Hobart Skyfall and his owner Diane Williams competing at the British Riding Club Champs. Sky is the older brother of our stallion Socrates, and clearly demonstrates a lot of talent for jumping. These two are a fantastic team at eventing and showjumping.

Yearling filly offered for sale. Well handled, up to date with everything. Nice natured and easy going. Imported from Austria last Autumn. To mature at approx 14.2hh.

Don’t let this demure photo fool you…

Today’s dressage ended with some surprising results, we spooked at a pigeon at C, spooked at the photographer at H, bucked at E, decided counter canter was out of our depth..

Incredibly the bits where he was listening and attentive got great marks and the judge loved him, so we clawed our way out of a hole and posted some of our best scores to date.

Moral of the story, don’t give up, keep going!

Busy week at the Norfolk Show, we had some great results with the cattle and horses and enjoyed being part of the Lincoln Red and Haflinger community. The lovely Soleah was Champion Haflinger for the second year running 🌟.

June is a busy month for us with show season underway. We were at Lincoln show last week with cattle and are now preparing for Norfolk show this coming week, with the cattle and horses.

Plenty of preparation this weekend, Margaux had another trip to a local show and found it much less dramatic and exciting than her last outing, so hopefully she can keep her feet on the ground on Thursday! Soleah has had the first deep clean! 🧼

A little practice outing this morning for Margaux. As with young horses, best laid plans etc.. 🤣

The first class was VERY exciting, there was a lot of squeaking and airs above the ground and trotting was mainly interspersed with headstands 🙄

By the second class adrenaline levels had dropped and she was pretty much foot perfect. She loaded and travelled on the lorry beautifully on her own, her first road trip ever. So we’ll take that as a successful day out, she’s learnt a lot today! Fantastic turnout of 5 haflingers at this local RC show, lovely to see everyone today.
