Through rehabilitation, education and community outreach we work to better the lives of animals in Norfolk. Hallswood animal sanctuary cares for over 1,400 animals and birds and we are on call 24/7. The Hallswood team posts updates on this page showing what's happening at the Sanctuary. We also advertise our fundraising advents:)

Well roofing to be exact!

I know it don’t look much but that is 10 wonderful 8 ft long sheets of brand new corrugated roofing 🙂
Our beautiful volunteers and staff don’t want red roses.. or a lunch out!
These ladies get all excited when a handsome gentleman called Jonathan sends roofing sheets as a gift:)

Seriously though a huge shout out to lovely Jonathan for his very much appreciated donation!!

We are rebuilding animal enclosures and roofing is really rather costly so when someone orders nearly £200 of strong metal sheets we really appreciate it:)

Meet milo, he looks like the perfect house cat doesn’t he!
Well… he has settled in a home, but he needs more.

This beautiful boy is far more wildly than a normal house and garden can cope with!
Milo needs a massive open area to protrol, a farm or stables would be ideal!
He’s not a horrible lad but has his options which he will express strongly! He’s lucky to have had an owner which has supported him and in someways loves him a lot. This is why we have been asked to help find him a home that will suit him best! Loving them sometimes means letting them move on.
Milo would suit a situation where he has a job and can find a warm dry comfortable place to sleep in . He needs regular food and a care giver who can except him being a sometimes grumpy young man!
Short term he will need a secure place to be lock-in with regular food and some soft place to sleep with a clean litter box, this is for 3-4 weeks to let him get used to his new home then the freedom to roam that he clearly wants. Hes will make a good farm/ stable cat. Milo is a big healthy neutered chap. No known health issues.
