Apologies for the delay on the weekly update, here goes !

Updates on the 🦔 residents of Hodge Lodge.....

Mrs Potts is on treatment for CAP (Roundworm) and Lungworm and is up 50g after 7 days in care. She now weighs 333g

Bennie is now being treated for Coccidia and is yet to gain weight despite being in care for over a week. He is 141g

Luffy is on treatment for CAP (Roundworm) and Lungworm and is up 161g after 10 days in care. He now weighs 342g

Hedgie is still receiving treatment for ringworm, has begun treatment for Coccidia and is up 365g after 34 days in care . She now weighs 541g

Updates on those 🦔 with the foster team.....

With Foster Janet is .....
Keith who is gaining nicely and now weighs 456g. He was 86g when he arrived 24 days ago

With Foster Jo is .....
Imera who is gaining nicely and now weighs 589g. She was 199g when she arrived a month ago

With Foster Paula is .....
Pondy who is gaining nicely and now weighs 451g.

Introducing Mrs Potts who arrived from V For Vets

Can you guess why the name ?! Lol

Weighing 283g she is a little skinny and a bit dehydrated. She is also missing her front nails! Fingers crossed these grow back quickly as she will need them to dig for her food when released

Poo sample shows lungworm and Cap (Roundworm eggs) so warmth and fluids given before starting medication

Arrived weighing 141g

Not eating much or gaining weight , something had to be wrong .
Poo sample checked and both Fluke and Coccidia found . He has ringworm too.

Treatment has begun so hopefully he will feel bit better soon . Come on Bennie!

New addition Luffy arrived weighing 181g

He was spotted on camera by foster Jo and knowing he was too small , he was scooped and spent a few days under watchful eye. Having not gained much more than a few grams he needed a poo check

Poo sample showed Lungworm and Cap (Roundworm) so he was admitted and started treatment straight away

He is up to 233g after 4 days

Good spot by Jo ! Just shows how poorly they are when they are out in the day or showing symptoms as Luffy did neither . Thank goodness for hog watchers lol

Stimpy arrived on 3rd October weighing 294g

It may look like sand , but it's in fact mites and they were everywhere!
And when turning over, One missing foot and a very infected one from a break 😔. At a guess, I'd say from a snap trap 🪤

Unfortunately there was no way of helping Stimpy and he was taken to the vets to help him sleep forever 😭

Oh Hermes 😭 , you overcame so much. I'm sorry we couldn't save you but glad we could give you a more comfortable end. Rest now xx

He had his bathing treatment for ringworm ...
Time in the nebuliser for his snotty nose ...
And treatment for Coccidia

I think he liked the camera, I know he liked the nebuliser 😜 ,
And he's had me smiling with some of his behaviour 😁

Wishing Wills a full recovery so he can be released soon 🥰

Also on 10th October, Imera was transferred to foster after finishing her treatment 😁
