🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We are very sad to announce that we will be closing the Riding Stables, after 45 years of business. We will be continuing as a livery yard.

We have had so many people learn to ride with us and we will take many happy memories with us - the horses will also miss you all.

This decision has not been taken lightly, but we feel it is the correct decision to make.

The Riding Stables will close on Sunday 24th October 2021. We thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.

- Sheila and Peter Bird

If you have any pictures of you/our riding school horses over the many years, we would love to see you share them with us in the comments below or via the inbox! πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›

Please kindly note that all existing lesson/hack bookings for tomorrow, Sunday 17th October, and throughout the WC 18th October remain in place. We will check our Facebook Inbox tomorrow after finishing work.

My latest post is now void, unfortunately we will now have to close manor farm riding stables 😒🐴.
Sadly after now reading the updated government guidelines again we will no longer be able offer hacks or lessons to customers until the restrictions are lifted. In this time I hope you all stay safe and well and I will try and keep you all updated with the horses 3rd holiday in 12 months. I’m sure they will miss you all terribly.
Thank you again for your support throughout these difficult times.

Good evening all and happy new year. I’m sure most of you have seen the latest update from Boris himself. I have looked at the newest government guidelines and at the moment is it still unclear as to whether we can stay open as a riding school even with 1-1 lessons. I’ve also researched into the British horse society and they have also stated they are unsure of the new rules regarding equine exercise for customers at riding schools. Once I have had clarification I will update you all as soon as I can.
Fingers crossed.
Thank you 🐴
