Basic grooming includes: Bathing, drying, brushing, clipping and styling, ear cleaning, & nail trimming. A**l glands can be emptied at owners request. Basic grooming prices vary by breed, size, coat condition, and dogs temperament. We groom dogs as humanely as possible. Dogs whose fur/hair is determined to be too tangled or matted will be given a short hair cut to spare any discomfort. All dogs groomed in relaxed, clean, smoke-free environment. No tranquilizers or drugs used. Unusually we do not use any restraints or ties, all the dogs we work on are free standing so can move when they want to. We prefer to train them over a period of time to free stand, this is much more humane than other methods we have viewed/witnessed where dogs seemed to be held by ropes in uncomfortable postions and left to stand for long periods! Also we do not use dryer cabinets!! Many dogs have been known to die in these cabinets.
