‘Years’ dog food has now recommended to discontinue use of all treats, broths and supplements incase these are also affected.
This is a developing situation and we will keep updating advice as it is given.
Anyone with affected products please email them to arrange refunds or return items to pets at home direct if you purchased from them .
Direct subscribers will need to manually stop subscription accounts as although advertised this will be done automatically , it has not.

⚠️RECALL ALERT: YEARS RECALLS ALL FRESH DOG MEALS⚠️

Years has announced a voluntary recall of all Years fresh dog meals with immediate effect.

The decision follows a growing number of reports of dogs developing sudden bilateral dry eye (keratoconjunctivitis sicca, or KCS) whilst fed the food.

According to Years, its investigation has identified a potential link with buckwheat, an ingredient used in all of its fresh meals since the start of this year.

If you currently feed Years
Stop feeding all Years fresh meals immediately.
Do not feed the meals to any other animal.
Follow Years' guidance regarding the recall, refunds and collection of unused food.

Symptoms to watch for
If your dog displays any of the following symptoms, contact your veterinary surgeon as soon as possible. Early diagnosis and treatment can significantly reduce the risk of permanent damage.

Redness or inflammation of the eyes
Thick eye discharge
Frequent blinking or squinting
Pawing or rubbing at the eyes
A dull, cloudy or dry appearance to the eye surface

I am really sorry but temps are showing 30 degrees tonight, as the humidity is forcast to also be very high this will not improve for us even tho both fields will be shaded, it’s not safe for the dogs to train in those temps so I have taken the difficult decision to cancel classes tonight.
I will move everyone’s courses over 1 week so that no one loses any paid for sessions, I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused but dog welfare must always come first xx

It’s ALL SYSTEMS GO at BB HQ… I repeat… ALL SYSTEMS GO!!! 🤯🐶💨
The Barking Bugle doggy show is happening THIS WEEKEND and honestly… I have not been this excited since I accidentally found the treat cupboard (don’t ask, still under investigation).
There will be waggy tails, zoomies, possibly some questionable behaviour, and DEFINITELY lots of very good dogs (including me, obviously). 🏆
