A Groom for Buttons ✂️

With his thick Angora fur, Buttons needed a helping hand during the moutling season. Fine rabbit fur can tangle and become matted so easily. I was sure to get into all the crevices and leave his fur silky and smooth. I'm sure Buttons felt lighter for it - even if the experience was a little unusual, as most first experiences are 😅

A Groom for Casper ✂️

Casper was super nosey during his groom. Rabbits are naturally inquisitive so I was happy for him to nose around and inspect all of my tools. He even threw in a super cute periscope - though he may have just been looking for an exit! 🧐

A Groom for Hugo ✂️

Hugo hated his groom. He doesn't like being picked up, he doesn't like being faffed with and he doesn't like his feet being touched. This is where years of experience comes in handy to ensure he's left groomed and healthy. With plenty of patience - and a towel to nibble on - it was over in no time! 😠

A Groom for Eira ✂️

Despite her cute facade, Eira is a sassy little girl! With each passing groom she's become more familiar and relaxed with the process but an escape attempt and thump are pretty common. I was extra unpopular this visit as we applied some Rearguard to protect against the flies in the heat 🪰🍑

A Groom for Dexter ✂️

Dexter is an elderly bun, living on his own, and has a condition that causes his eyes to weep. All of these things mean that he can struggle to groom himself. I made sure to give him a good brush, check him head to toe and de-matt the fur under his eyes to prevent his skin getting sore. He's such a gentle soul and I can feel his gratitude through his patience ☺️

A Groom for Bella ✂️

Bella needed a hand with her thick moulting fur and I was more than happy to help - even if she was less than happy for it. Thankfully she soon realised my goal and we brushed and detangled lots and lots of fur, with some tolerance breaks and strokes in between. It's amazing how much fur can accumulate around their bums and tails - and how quickly it can become matted 🐑

A Groom for Moon ✂️

Another regular groom for little Moon. After all these years, she is so comfortable and confident with the entire process now. My favourite part is the post-groom cuddle, obligatory pellets and little thump as I leave. The close-up is because I took too long delivering said pellets. See you again soon!

A Groom for Flopsy ✂️

Flopsy gave me a right run around the garden before her groom. Though like a lot of rabbits, she settled on the towel and let me do my thing afterwards. A full body check, nails trimmed, a helping hand with the last of her moult and a couple of treats later, she was back to lounging around in no time 🐰

A Groom for Pennie ✂️

Lovely little Pennie was in desperate need of nail trim - as those growing nails are perfectly hidden by bun's fluffy feet! As she's not a fan of being handled I made sure to keep her on her feet wherever possible and we trimmed her nails one by one, on her terms 😊
