🌈🐾 Run free, beautiful Roxy 🐾🌈
At 1pm today Roxy fell asleep 💔 Another little soul has grown her wings, and my heart is breaking all over again.
I’ve had the pleasure of grooming this little rascal for around 7 years, and what a character she was! 😂 From the battle of the nails to the absolute chaos of blow-drying her, she certainly kept me on my toes! Nothing was ever straightforward with Roxy, but that was part of what made her so special. She was a little madam, a little rascal, and I loved her dearly. ❤️
We always got there in the end, and she would leave looking like the pretty little girl she was. 🐾
At around 17 or 18 years old, she had a wonderful long life, but that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. Especially when it’s so close to losing my lovely George.💔
There is one comforting thought, though… Roxy is now reunited with her beautiful sister Queenie, running free together again. 🌈🐾 I hope they’re having the best reunion over the Rainbow Bridge.
2026, what an absolutely heartbreaking year this has been. Twelve precious dogs I’ve groomed over the years have now left us, all taking a little piece of my heart with them. 💔 Being a dog groomer means becoming part of their lives, watching them grow older, and loving them as if they were your own. But the hardest part of this job is having to say goodbye.
Sleep peacefully, my cheeky Roxy. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, and for being you. You will be missed more than you’ll ever know.
