At Happy Tails at Jasmine Cottage, we aim to be a trusted name in ethical, nature-connected dog care - where kindness, understanding, and sustainability shape every walk, visit, and boarding stay. We strive to inspire a community of responsible dog owners who share our values of trust, respect, and countryside stewardship, ensuring dogs and humans enjoy a harmonious life in nature for generations to come.
💛Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver ethical, nature-connected dog care across all our services. Rooted in the peaceful Cheshire countryside, we celebrate the bond between dogs and humans while promoting responsible, sustainable care in every wagging tail.
💛Our Core Values - TAILS
TRUST
We value the trust placed in us by dog owners and our wider community. We foster a culture of compassion, safety, and reliability, ensuring every dog is treated with kindness, patience, and understanding. We promote positive relationships between dogs and humans, and between dogs within our small pack setting here at Jasmine Cottage.
🤝This is more than a service - it’s a promise. One built on trust. 🤝
ANIMAL WELFARE
We value and prioritise the animal welfare of every dog. We uphold the five welfare needs: a suitable environment, a suitable diet, the ability to exhibit normal behaviour, protection from pain, suffering, injury and disease, and appropriate social housing. Every dog is treated with fairness, honesty, and dignity.
🐶 This is more than a checklist - it’s a duty. One guided by compassion and a deep respect for animal welfare. 🐶
INDIVIDUALITY
We value the individuality of every dog, recognising that each one has its own personality, needs, and preferences. Our approach respects each dog's emotional and physical wellbeing, and we tailor our care to suit their unique character, breed traits, and life stage.
🌟 This is more than personalised, individualised care - it’s a relationship. One built on understanding. 🌟
LOVE & RESPECT
We value, love and respect the natural world and the role that both dogs and humans play within it. Rooted in the peaceful Cheshire countryside, our service nurtures a love of nature through outdoor walks, enrichment, and respectful interaction with the environment. We encourage a deep appreciation for the outdoors and promote gentle, mindful engagement with the spaces we share.
🌼 This is more than time outside - it’s a bond. One built on love and respect. 🌼
STEWARDSHIP OF NATURE
We value and promote stewardship of nature in everything we do, helping ensure future generations of dogs and humans can enjoy the countryside safely and harmoniously. We teach and model care for our surroundings, including proper use of public footpaths, respect for farmland and livestock, and responsible behaviour in rural spaces. This includes always picking up after dogs, closing gates behind us, and following countryside etiquette.
🌿 This is more than a walk in the woods - it’s a legacy. One built on love and respect for the world we share. 🌿
