From big to small, mixed to pure breeds and working dogs to family pets🐕🧸 Dogs play a key role in our lives and today is about giving back to them🥰

🐾💕Animal Friendships💕🐾

Did you know animals can have friends? They can form deep selective bonds with other animals, whether that be their own species or another.

Dogs for example, are social creatures and can form real friendships, often preferring specific dogs that show the same friendly behaviours toward them.

Signs of dog friendship include:
- Mutual Play⚽️
-Relaxed body language 💤
-Choosing to spend time together🐕🐕

Please note before bringing another pet home, not all pets want friends, and some can be perfectly happy with just human companionship.
Small animal species such as Rabbits and Guinea pigs however, require a friend/ companion of their own kind in order to feel safe and happy 🐇🐰

Always make sure to research whether your pet needs companionship or prefers solidarity before bringing them home 🐶🐱🐟

🐈‍⬛National Black Cat Appreciation Day🐈‍⬛

Black cat appreciation day was created in honour of a woman and her beloved black cat “Sinbad”. The purpose is to highlight the value of black cats and encourage people to consider adopting them.

Unfortunately, due to negative superstitions they end up suffering vast consequences, and spend more time in shelters than any other colour of cat😢
