🐾 What happens during post-op recovery? 🐾

Here’s lovely Leo, recovering beautifully after his castration. 💙

Once surgery is complete, your pet is carefully handed over to one of our amazing recovery nurses. Throughout recovery, their vital signs are continuously monitored, and we ensure they are warm, comfortable and calm🥰

They’re offered food and water. Dogs are taken for a short walk to give them the opportunity to toilet, While cats have access to a clean litter tray. 🐶🐱

Once we’re happy that they’ve recovered well, we’ll arrange their home time, prepare their discharge information and any medication they need. 💊

Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness are always our priority. ❤️ For routine procedures, we aim for your pet to recover and return home the very same day. 🏡🐾

❣️Handsome Hank❣️

Hank, at only 3 months old, unfortunately fractured one of his canine teeth. Tooth fractures are very painful due to exposured pulp and if left untreated can lead to infections. Hank came in for a dental procedure to remove the fractured tooth by dental enthusiast Gemma D. 🦷🪥

Hank was a very brave boy and was quickly back to his normal happy, playful self💕🎉

🐶💉What Is Librela? 💉🐶

Librela is a monthly injection used to help manage osteoarthritis in dogs. It works differently to traditional pain relief by targeting the pain signals from arthritic joints, helping improve comfort and mobility.

Many dogs on Librela find it easier to walk, get up, and enjoy daily activities again🐾💙

Librela isn’t suitable for every dog, so one of our vets will always assess your pet and discuss whether it’s the right option. If your dog is slowing down or showing signs of arthritis, please contact us on 01606 359789📞

🐾Beau The Cockerpoo🐾

Beautiful Beau came to Northwich vets to be spayed. Beau was very brave and extremely cute🥰 💕

A spay surgery is an operation removing the ovaries and the uterus in order for them to stop having puppies.🐶

Neutering female dogs has numerous benefits including removing the risk of pyometra, ending heat cycles and preventing accidental litters. 🩺

🌟Amazing Abi 🌟

Abi came to us due to loss of appetite and some bloody discharge. She had not been spayed and after an ultrasound scan she was diagnosed with a pyometra (A potentially life threatening infection of the uterus). Abi underwent emergency surgery removing her infected uterus. After a couple of weeks she is now returning back to her normal self 🩷

If you have an older female entire dog, please consider neutering them to prevent a pyometra. Speak to a member of our team to get them booked in today!📞
