Here we all are. At the end of a very upsetting, interesting and challenging year for everyone, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all my clients who have steadfastly supported me throughout this troubled time. The love and affection I've received has made this year almost bearable. I'd also like to thank friends and family for believing in me and for the support they have provided.

I'm under no illusion that 2021 is going to be easy - however I am sure that we are better together, and that if we look after one another, we will get through as best we can.

It's so wonderful to be back :) Here's some images taken post lock-down of the work that I do :)

There's puppies, kittens, cats, dogs, bunnies, koi carp, chickens, gecko's, salt water tropical aquariums, freshwater aquariums and a parakeet :)

I've now got some capacity for my daytime visits and my house sitting is filling up fast. Please drop me a line if you think I may be of assistance. Wishing everyone the very best. Mark

A cheery update - (piccies are images sent to me during lock-down) - I have such lovely clients!

Following the latest government guidelines, I shall be restarting my business as of tomorrow (Wednesday). I will be available as before but will assess each clients unique set up and work from there accordingly.

I have face-masks, disposable gloves and / or hand gel and will of course be operating in the safest way possible. As I have always operated as a sole walker and not a pack walker, the chances of cross contamination are vastly reduced.

I am aware that people have had a really tough time recently and I am gladdened that our pets have helped us all through these weird and troubling times.

Sending all my best wishes, and whenever I am needed again, don't hesitate to drop me a message :)

A brief update:

Following one to one discussions with all of my clients and their total understanding, I am sorry to say that all of my current services will be completely on hold until the government mandates that it is safe to resume. We are all in difficult times, but we have to do all we can to support the efforts of our amazing front line staff in their work to keep us all safe from harm.

With this in mind I have registered as an NHS volunteer and hope to assist in any way that I can.

As ever, be kind, think of yourselves and others, reach out, smile :)

Working together we are all stronger.

I so look forward to returning to the work I love and until then, stay safe and be as strong as you can. I am of course still available to chat and would be delighted if people would kindly add images to this thread of their beloved pets during the lock down - lets share some happiness.

Hi all

With the continuing uncertainty in the world just now - I wanted to let all my lovely clients know that I will be waiving / suspending my "cancellation clause" as of today.

This applies to all my daily clients and also my home-sitting services and will be in place for at least the next 6 months.

It is more important to me that we all work together to get through the complicated times ahead.

As ever, please feel free to call / message if you need and I'll do my best to help.

Hello All :)

I shall be taking the following steps from Monday 16th March 2020. This is in response to the rise of corona virus cases in the UK and due to the number of elderly and medically unwell
clients I have at the moment.

1: I will be distancing myself from all clients whilst visiting. I have acquired face masks, so I will wear them on pickup and drop offs and will ask that clients do not approach me should we cross paths during my visit.

I have always carried and used hand sanitiser and will be using this before, during and after my visits.

Should any of my clients need to isolate themselves, please let me know. I am always here to help in any way I can (See below)

2: I am happy to provide a free prescription / medication delivery service for all of my clients, regardless of bookings.

3: To assist clients, I can provide milk and bread / essentials & provisions on my visits if needed.

4: I am already a trusted key-holder so I am more than happy for others to have my contact details should you want an extra level of security for loved ones. I am usually only 10 minutes away from most of my clients.

5: Should *ANY* other help be needed, I'm just a phone-call away and am always happy to help as best as I can.

Together we can help one another through whatever comes our way.

With a tinge of sadness (I love my work, my clients and their charges) - I am sorry (yet happy) to say that I have reached my capacity as your friendly local doggyhelper. Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am through to 4:00 pm I can no longer sensibly take on any new clients. Outside of these hours I have limited availability and will also still be providing my home and pet sitting service. Any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. Mark :)
