Somebody recently showed an interest in how Pew manages to eat. I thought this video was a good example, you can see that he explores with his paws moves around and uses his senses to establish what it is before trying to eat it. Pew is putting on weight really well and tonight weighed in at 198 g, this is a good weight for a young male of his age.
The last video of Pew I posted gathered some negative comments from Internet trolls and Hamster police. I will not tolerate any form of abuse in the comments. I am more than happy to discuss pews health and development in a constructive way, especially if you have experience of raising a blind Hamster from infancy.
I am doing my best to Care for Pew in a loving nurturing way, using my knowledge and experience and my understanding of him as an individual and how he processes his world. I never profess to be perfect, I will of course make mistakes as I am human, however everything I do is in the best interest of my animals whom I love and care for dearly.
