This very handsome boy is Seph, he is the son of Tuppence and Blitz and is such a loving cuddly boy.
We have taken a step back recently from breeding over the summer months to give the hammies rest and relaxation through the hottest months and for us to have a well earned break. We hope to begin breeding again over the coming month.
As we are only a small hobby breeder the welfare of our hamsters comes first and foremost. They have all coped so well through the awful heat.
A special mention must go to my very elderly hamsters, of which I currently have 8, who have all coped so well through such extreme temperatures in their vulnerable conditions. We recently had my lovely boy Ted pass away and I’m very sad to think there will be more losses to come over the next few months. This is to be expected when you have as many as I do but still it is not easy. In a way it is a privilege to have so many live to such old ages, but hard losses when they’ve lived with you for most or all of their lives.
