Today we remember Beau, a much-loved companion whose paw prints will remain forever on the hearts of those who loved him.

It was our privilege at Pets in the Clouds to care for Beau on his final journey and to help create some precious keepsakes for his family.

May the wonderful memories, unconditional love and special moments you shared bring comfort in the days ahead. Though Beau may no longer be by your side, the love you shared will always remain. 🤍

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to begin.

If you're worried about your pet's quality of life or wondering whether it might be time to consider euthanasia at home, our Registered Veterinary Nurses are here to listen.

They understand how emotional these moments can be and can help you talk through the changes you've noticed in your pet. They'll answer your questions, explain what to expect and help you decide whether it's time to book an appointment or continue to monitor your pet at home. Our Registered Veterinary Nurses may also suggest a quality of life assessment visit instead, if it's best that a vet comes to see your pet at home.

There is no pressure to make any decisions during that first call. It's simply a chance to speak to someone who understands and can offer compassionate guidance when you need it most.

You don't have to navigate this journey on your own.

This week, our Memory Book has been filled with beautiful messages for some very special companions who are now running free among the clouds. ❤️

From heartfelt notes telling beloved dogs how much they were loved, to promises that they will never be forgotten, every page reminds us of the incredible bond shared between pets and their families. Reading messages for Ralphie, Ollie, Ruben and so many others is both heartbreaking and deeply moving.

We want every family to know that we read these messages with care, compassion and respect. We understand that behind every tribute is a lifetime of memories, unconditional love, muddy paw prints, happy greetings, quiet cuddles and a place in someone's heart that can never be replaced.

At Pets in the Clouds, your pet is never just another pet. They are family. And it is a privilege to help honour their memory and provide a space where their stories, love and legacy can live on.

Today we received the most beautiful card and gift from a family we recently helped, and it truly touched our hearts. 💛

At Pets in the Cloud, we never expect a thank you. We do this work because we love animals deeply and believe every pet deserves respect, compassion, and dignity in their final journey. Being trusted during such heartbreaking moments is something we never take lightly.
This family sadly lost their beautiful kitten at only 11 months old. Such a young life, gone far too soon. 🌈🐾

When we cared for their little one, we made sure they were treated with the gentleness and honour they deserved every step of the way — with love, dignity, and compassion, just as we would our own pets.

To receive such kind words afterwards means more than we can ever say. Knowing we were able to bring even a small amount of comfort during such a painful time reminds us why this work matters so much.

We were recently sent this touching photo by a client who found comfort in looking up and seeing what felt like their beloved dog in the clouds.
