Forvana Swedish Vallhunds

Had a fabulous day out with Tindra on Sunday representing our amazing breed at Edition Dog Live. She behaved impeccably as did all her fellow doggy friends showing the general public their amazing treat snuffling skills and lap snuggling talents. It was a really lovely day with lots of 'good' stalls and entertainment. Worth a visit next year folks and car parking was free ! AND the cafe permitted dogs in and the food was excellent and reasonably priced ! If you met us give us a like so we remember who you are !!!

Where does the time go ! Our beautiful little girl is now 10 months old.
Danga’s Tindra Gimlidotter at Forvana
Sire :Tamika's Gimlidotter
Mother : Danga’s Inka Kallesdotter

So proud of her - making plans to do some Scentwork with her in the future. It may also be time for me to dust off my obedience jacket and get back into the sport I have taught and worked in for around 35 years. She seems to have 'the edge' required to be an all rounder so it really is down to me to focus on where the future lies for us both. Fun times ahead pretty girl !

So it has been a very busy Summer this year with our business. However the best busiest part of our year has been campaigning our very beautiful, kind, friendly baby Tindra - Danga’sTindra Gimlidotter at Forvana. I cannot thank Ingela Marina Johannesson enough for entrusting this amazing little girl into our care. She arrived in the UK with our good friend Elisabeth Strömberg in March and completely took over our lives with love. Tindra hit the show circuit in April with a 1st Baby Puppy at UK Swedish Vallhund Society Champ Show at the age of 19 weeks. She had to wait until mid May to start her official UK RKC show career. And what fun we have had so far. 11 x Best Puppy titles, 9 x Best Puppy in Breed, 2 x Best of Breed and in our first attempt at entering the Groups at a Champ Show - Pastoral Puppy Group 4.
More importantly than the winning rosettes or classes this little girl has captured my heart and those around her in a big way. She is a darling with a gentle disposition and a warm soul. Win or lose we always take the best dog home. 😍

Could not be more proud of our little Swedish Viking. Meet Tindra - Danga’s Tindra Gimlidotter at Forvana. She went to her first Championship Show on Sunday and won 1st Baby Puppy. Only 20 weeks old and wonderfully bold and fearless. She is both cute and funny and we obviously adore her x

Well Brazen affectionately currently known as dumpling has definitely broadened out since telling the rest of the world her news ! Favourite meal at the moment seems to be minced beef heart, natural yoghurt and raw eggs - a girl's got to keep her strength up for the big event hasn't she !

For those who know me (and those who don’t yet - but let's change that!), here’s the latest stories from our little English tearoom tucked inside a beautiful thatched cottage in a tiny rural village.

Our little Viking pack consists of –
✨ Kyrie the wise matriarch,
✨ Crixus my soulmate and mummy’s boy,
✨ and Brazen the sassy, gorgeous strumpet –
They spend their days romping across the meadows, charming everyone they meet, and of course, stealing the hearts of our lovely customers at Lavender Bee Tearoom.

And now for our big Tearoom news … We are so proud to share that Lavender Bee Tearoom is a finalist for the prestigious Blue Ribbon Good Food Award – for the third year running 🏆
