🐴 Another busy day complete! 🐴

First stop this morning was Glebe — and typically I forgot to take a picture 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

✔️ 7 horses mucked out
✔️ Beds left up to dry
✔️ Haynets made & hung up
✔️ Fresh waters
✔️ Yard swept

Next stop was over to Podington to meet a new client regarding holiday cover and occasional yard cover 🥰 Always lovely meeting new horses and owners!

Then it was time to head over to the riding school in Crick for:

✔️ 30-minute schooling session with Eggsy
✔️ 30-minute schooling session with Bumble

Both boys were very good and worked beautifully ❤️

Back to Northampton next for a dog walk with the lovely Bea 🐶- We enjoyed a 1-hour stroll around Abington Park, and Famey joined us this time as I didn’t have time to drop her home first 😅. The girls got on brilliantly and had a lovely walk together 🥹🫶🏼

Back to Glebe again was the next stop, but for a separate block this time:

✔️ 5 horses skipped out
✔️ Beds pulled down
✔️ Fresh waters
✔️ Haynets made & hung up
✔️ Yard swept
✔️ Field waters checked & topped up for those staying out overnight
✔️ Dinner fed to the horses staying in

Last stop of the day was over to Denton for a rather windy hack on Ted with Mum and Charlie 🌬️🐴

🌴 First day back since returning from holiday! 🌴

The morning started off with my car being super helpful and deciding it didn’t want to start 🙃🤣 Thankfully it’s all sorted now and we were good to go! 🙏🏼

First stop was over to Gem 🐴

We headed out for a very spooky hack thanks to all the terrifying bushes and trees flapping in the wind 🤣🌳 However, we managed to stay dry which was definitely a bonus! 🥳

While there I also:
✔️ Mucked out her stable
✔️ Left the front of the bed up to allow the wet floor to dry
✔️ Pulled some bedding down at the back to soak up any wee and give Gem somewhere comfy to lie down
✔️ Fresh waters
✔️ Haynet made & hung up
✔️ Rugged up

Next stop was a lovely 1-hour walk with the gorgeous Bea 🐶🥰- Somehow we managed to dodge the rain again… I think I used up all my luck for the week 🤣☔

Last stop was over to Odell:

✔️ 2 horses brought in
✔️ 1 horse turned out
✔️ 6 horses fed
✔️ 4 fields poo picked
✔️ 3 stables mucked out
✔️ 1 stable topped up with fresh water & haynet made/hung up
✔️ Feet picked out
✔️ Rugs changed and fitted appropriately for the weather
✔️ Yard swept 🧹

A fairly busy first day back, but it’s good to be back with all the ponies and four-legged friends again 🥰🐴🐶

📢 Polite Notice 📢

As of next week (Monday 15th June), I am fully booked back-to-back every day right through until the week commencing 7th July 🤩

To help keep everything running as smoothly as possible, I’d be really grateful if clients could ensure:

🐴 Horses are tacked up and ready for me to hop straight on (where applicable)
🌾 Adequate hay and bedding is available
🥕 Feeds are prepared or are easily accessible
🧹 Yard equipment is easy to locate
🧥 Rugs, fly masks and any other essentials are readily available

Despite being incredibly busy, all of your horses will continue to receive the same 10⭐ care, attention and time as always. However, having everything to hand makes a huge difference and helps me stay on schedule, rather than spending time searching through tack rooms, feed rooms and endless boxes looking for things 🙈🤣

As always, thank you all so much for keeping me so busy and supporting my business. I’m incredibly grateful and look forward to seeing all my regular clients, as well as meeting lots of new faces over the coming weeks! 🫶🏼🐴
