Your pet’s adult years may be their most active, but regular checks still matter.

HealthCheck360 for Adult Pets gives an experienced veterinary nurse 30 minutes to look at their health, lifestyle, and any changes that may be worth keeping an eye on.

Their check can cover weight and nutrition, dental health, mobility, behaviour, and lifestyle, as well as a physical examination and urine analysis.

You’ll also get personalised advice to help support their health between visits.

For dogs up to 5 years old and cats up to 7 years old.

✨ Saturday Success Stories! ✨

This distinguished gentleman is Thomas🐈‍⬛
Thomas came in to see us as his owner noticed that he wasn't urinating and when he tried to go, he was very vocal and visibly uncomfortable 😣
On examination, his bladder was full and firm and couldn't be expressed manually. He was diagnosed with a blocked bladder 😢

This occurs when something is stuck in the urethra preventing urine from passing. This is an emergency 🆘 and needs resolving as soon as possible.

Thomas was placed under general anaesthetic and had a urinary catheter placed to remove the blockage and drain the urine from the bladder.
The catheter was left in place and he was kept in the hospital where his urine output could be monitored.
Thomas was so brave and recovered well. As long as he had Lick-e-lix he was a happy boy😋

If you have a concern that your pet (especially male cats 🐱) are struggling to urinate, please call the practice as soon as possible as this issue is a life-threatening emergency 🚨🆘🚨.
