Teddy's Luxury Small Doggy Day Care & Walking The original cage free, luxury Doggy Day Care We have a large home from home environment located at The Lodge in Wootton, Northampton.

Whether you are working long hours, fancy going out for the day 'dog-free', decorating or any other reason then your little one can come and spend the day with us. Our guests are encouraged to treat the space as their own home. We have many cosy places where they can snuggle and snooze or if they prefer to play, ample toys and other small friendly dogs to keep them amused. Teddy's boasts two outdo

or areas. A secure large grassed paddock with tunnels, mounds and trees and a separate enclosed grassed garden with a patio and play equipment. We offer enrichment activities throughout the day for those wishing to burn off excess energy or, alternatively, a quieter chill out zone for the less enthusiastic. They are welcome to have breakfast and dinner here too and any other requests can be catered for. Enquire today to book your place on one of our FREE 'Meet & Greet' sessions. Such a wonderfully diverse group of dogs today: shy puppies, confident puppies, energetic older dogs, confident youngsters, and some who came with their own challenges and are only just beginning their journey with us. And that’s what made today so special.
Dogs respected each other’s boundaries. People helped each other, understood, accepted and supported. Nobody expected every dog to be the same.
This is a safe space for dogs to be who they are, while giving them the opportunity and freedom to grow in confidence at their own pace.
Some arrive ready to take on the world. Others need a little more time. We’re here for all of them and we genuinely love watching those journeys unfold.
Today felt like a real community.

This is what a happy, settled daycare looks like… 🤍
It’s not all zoomies and playtime at Teddy’s.
Afternoons are for slowing things down, finding your favourite bed, snuggling up with your friends and having a proper nap after a busy morning.
Because a good daycare day isn’t just about how much fun they have, it’s also about feeling safe, settled and relaxed enough to switch off.

Another lovely Sunday Social 🐾❤️

Lots of our regulars today, plenty of new faces and such a gorgeous group of happy, confident dogs enjoying being together.

One of our favourite things is watching the shyer ones gradually start to come out of their shells, exploring a little further, making friends and growing in confidence each time they visit. We also met some lovely new faces getting ready to join us at daycare 🥰

And a particularly special moment today… watching dogs experience being off lead for the very first time. ❤️

Sometimes you just have to trust them and give them the freedom. They don’t run away — they explore, they check back in, and suddenly you get to see a whole new side of them.

🐾 TEDDY’S ROUNDUP 🐾

What a couple of weeks it’s been at Teddy’s! ❤️

A huge welcome to our gorgeous new starter Bear 🌭 who had a perfect first day!

We’ve had birthdays too! 🎂 Ralphie turned 4, Yankee turned 7 and, of course, our very own Junior turned 3! Thank you SO much for all of Junior’s wonderful cards and presents – he’s one very lucky little pug. Go follow his adventures over at 🐻❤️

And thankfully… the heatwave is finally over! 🙌 It’s been lovely getting back to normal daycare days: playing, exploring, snoozing and hanging out with their best friends. Our daycare dogs have been on superb form and clearly very happy to have the cooler weather back too!

We’ll be thinking of little Crumble next week as she heads to the vets, and sending her lots of love from all her Teddy’s pals. ❤️

We’ve also been tidying up after an incredible run of events; our Pool Party, Junior’s Birthday Party and, of course, PUGCHELLA! 🎉 It was a HUGE success and even made the national newspapers! 📰 A massive thank you to our wonderful volunteers who came along to help us … we couldn’t do these special days without you. 🙏

The giant pool is officially packed away until next year… 💦😭

So, what’s next for Teddy’s? 👀 Stay tuned, because we’ve got some exciting announcements coming very soon… 🐾

Our first ever Pool Party and what a HUGE success!

The open session was so popular, and one of my favourite things was watching some of the dogs who started off a little unsure literally bombing into the pool by the end, determined to make the biggest splash possible. 😂

We had our confident swimmers, our regular weekend gang mixing with our daycare gang, old faces we hadn’t seen for ages, and even a special visit from one of our daycare dogs who’s currently taking a little break. It was so lovely seeing everyone together and getting to meet the whole family behind some of the dogs we know so well.

We also held a big-dog session, it makes us so happy to welcome bigger dogs at the weekend … please can we spread the word! A private session too giving reactive, elderly or less confident dogs the chance to enjoy the whole experience with plenty of space to themselves.

The foam was magical, the music was great, the ice creams went down VERY well and there was so much space for everyone to just enjoy themselves. 🫧🍦🎶

But the best bit was watching our community come together. Daycare dogs, weekend dogs, familiar faces, brand-new faces and lots of new friendships made along the way.

I think Pool Party might have to become a Teddy’s regular occurrence, do you?… 💦
