Hugo is a cheeky young Dalmation - you may have seen his yodelling video. Today he brought his A game 💪

I tried to do a voice over, explaining the clips, and the silliness that happens along side the training . After 4 attempts I decided to resort back to music BUT to ask the LWDT Members to leave their voice over scripts / comments in the comments 🤣 ..... I might regret this 🙈

The nights are drawing in, bringing an end to our outdoor evening hoopers training. Here is a little look at last weeks classes, from little Toby that only started this summer, to the dogs that have been competing for years.

Hip x-ray ✅️ - all ok
Tear ducts checked ✅️ - not blocked

Now I just need to wait for her wiggle to return.

Thank you to the team at Weedon Vets for looking after my special girl 🥰

Happy International Black Dog Day! 🖤

Why do black dogs need a day?

Apart from celebrating all those that didn’t choose the dogs that are easy to photograph! Black dogs are often the hardest for rescues to rehome 😥

This is Otter, my son-in-law’s black Lab. Gorgeous, clever and gentle.

But black dogs are every bit as wonderful, funny and full of personality as every other dog .... they just require a few more photography skills 🤣

So today, let’s celebrate them.

Post your black dogs in the comments – past and present. I’d love to see them, and hear a little bit about them too.

Let’s give the black dogs some love! 🖤

What a beautiful day to train 🌞

Today started with grass cutting, followed by a hoopers one-to-one , then a GCA Intermediate & Advanced workshop, then another one-to-one for general training and ending with more grass cutting.

During the workshop we did
- loose lead walking
-loose lead walking with a pushchair, umbrella and carrying a bowl of water
- recall
- off lead heelwork
- greeting manners
- emergency stops
- a couple of the choice sections of GCA

The dogs all did really well. They were calm and focused ❤️🐾

I have just returned from a dog-free trip to France 🇫🇷 to see family. Thankfully the owners of our accommodation has a lovely Border Collie, who visited us each day to hang out 🥰

Now I need to swap from sunny holiday mode, back into work mode. Please help me out by posting the last photo you took of your dog ... no cheating! Flood the comments with dog photos 📸 🐾
