Late summer autumn right orange larvae can attach to the dog’s skin causing itching, inflammation and redness. I’ve also seen them next to eyes and in armpits to, any of the warmer areas. Dogs pick them up when brushing past infested vegetation. These will need to be treated by going to the vet. They are of no harm to humans and don’t transfer between dogs.

He did it! His first 100k ultra. Started 7am, got home 1am. Looks surprisingly well today, only 2 blisters, no sunburn. Lots of food and rest today. Thank you to Jennifer York and Russell Watson for getting out and supporting him so was at home with a sick Eddie, gutted I never got out to see him. Lots of phone calls instead. Thanks to Race Harborough for looking after him and by the sound of it provided great check points and feed stations. Well done to everyone that took park your all amazing.
