And August finally comes to an end. This month has had it all! 5 hour delays on the M6, extreme weather ⚡️⚡️☀️💨💦💦💦☀️, flat tyre in the middle of nowhere, on a Sunday bank holiday weekend (don’t even ask what that cost me), me turning up a whole 24 hours early for a collection (I know I’m hot on time keeping but this was a bit extreme even for me!), someone hitting my car in the services (and no they didn’t stop) to name but a few, and through it all I had the most delightful travel companions. 3 of the most adorable pooches George, lulu and Queen and cats cats and more cats. Chico 🐱Bobele 🐱 Macchi 🐱 billy🐱 dolly 🐱 Hades 🐱 Hercules 🐱 Turkish 🐱 Molly 🐱 toffee 🐱 pusk 🐱 bunny 🐱 rajah 🐱 puddy 🐱 Betty 🐱 its been a ball my furry friends x

July was a tough month. Traffic, heat, super busy but rest assured your beloved pets were comfy and cool even if the human was getting a tad fed up with the continued delays. But, patience is my middle name and we just sat, often having a chat, listening to a bit of music or listening to my audio books. Thank goodness for Jilly Cooper is all I can add to that! The stunningly handsome Rajah was just one of my many pusscats who was my travel companion in July 🐱🐱🐱

As we are all well aware, the heatwave has been tough on our fur friends recently 😮‍💨 but one thing you can be reassured by is that all of my vehicles have air conditioning and I will always come equipped with enough water to last for days! It’s important to be honest with all of my doggy clients about keeping our toilet breaks and walks to safe, shaded spots 🥵

I have some holiday coming up at the end of the month to recharge and spend time with my family - but I am taking bookings for the rest of 2026 so please don’t hesitate to contact me 🚙

On my travels I not only meet the most adorable pets and stay at some of the most beautiful parts of the U.K. I get to meet some extraordinary and genuinely lovely people. This week I’ve been fed, watered, given a 5 star bed for the night, allowed use of peoples homes, had a packed lunch made for me and some lovely gifts. Great conversation has been had, and ideas and insights exchanged, thank you one and all 💕

Meet Pedro AKA Peanut! Teeny tiny boy had an incredibly long 6.5 hour drive with me and his anxiety went into overdrive. These tiny pups have very limited tanks and can become very ill very quickly. He was struggling to maintain his body temperature so it was aircon off, heat let in and within 15 minutes he fell into a comfortable sleep thank goodness warm as toast. I on the other hand in 32 degrees heat was sweating like 🐷 and stunk like a 🐐 but my only concern was this little fellow. Secured legally and safely in the front with me I was super aware the whole journey of all his needs, no rocking and rolling in the back of a pet van. All part of the one to one bespoke service I provide. The video was of him 15 minutes after our arrival and he has slotted in perfectly with his now 4 furry house mates. Good luck Peanut 💙

I get asked a lot, how do I cope with doing so much driving? My answer is always the same, driving is no problem, miles is no problem but trying to second guess everyone else on the roads is exhausting. Describe the roads? It’s like the Wild West, completely lawless. And I have a theory why there are so many accidents and incidents of bad driving. I call it the 4 I’s. Impatience,, inexperience, idiocy and my least favourite ‘because I can’! But this month I’ve met 2 teachers, one retired and one still working snd they both had an alternative argument. Humans are losing the ability for extended periods of concentration! Becoming far more noticeable since the electronic age, it really made me think 🤔

In amongst all the cats, dogs, puppies and kittens I get the odd googly pop up. Meet 8 week old beautiful Blizzard. Bespoke journey all the way down from Leeds to Kent! Kept cool and hydrated all the way. I didn’t realise ferrets were so chatty, what an absolute pleasure to transport.
