Tilly's Pet Supplies Tilly's is a family-run pet shop, specialising in a wide range of quality and natural products for dogs, cats and small animals.

At Tilly's, we hope to provide you with the best possible products to keep your furry-friends healthy and happy. Jayne, Owner and Founder of Tilly's started the shop with the vision of providing other pet-lovers with a trusted place to discover the best quality products for their furry friends. Having owned various pets throughout her life so far including 7 dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 1 rabbit and 2 horses. Animals have always been a big part of Jayne's life; when she was first born, her family dog ran up to see her and was one of the first people to welcome Jayne to the world - even beating her father to it. The shop is named after Jayne's late Springer Spaniel Tilly, who lived a happy and long life. As the inspiration for the shop, Tilly represents all those pampered pets who deserve only the finest things in life.

Ohmidog storm Austen

Let’s all be mindful about our pets .

Keep them on a Lead

Never let your dog off in high winds
Even if they have the best recall . If you have a fixed lead they are more secure rather than a retractable one .

ID tags

Make sure your dog is wearing
An ID tag incase they bolt .

Fences and Gates

Check boundary fences and gates before letting your dogs out .

Avoid High Risk Areas

Woods , path ways with trees and water ways .

Switch to indoor enrichment

Shorter or skip outdoor walks. Play indoors games like hide and seek or training to burn mental energy. Maybe a long lasting treat like a pizzel to release happy endorphins.

Remember strong winds affect both cats and dogs .sensory overload and anxiety.

The flight or panic response .Flying debris and falling branches . Startling cats to run in front of traffic or dogs pulling on lead and bolting.

If you have a cat maybe worth keeping indoors for a few days .

I personally have been out looking for many Lost Dogs . That have gone missing on walks during high winds or boundary fences blowing down . Some of these dogs sadly don’t make it home .

Stay Safe Tilly’s Family❤️🐾

Tilly’s Birdie Family 🐦‍⬛🥜

Once I saw a little bird
Go hop , hop , hop
So I said little bird
Will you stop, stop , stop

Then I went to the window
To say how do you do?
But he shook his little tail
And off he flew!

Tilly’s Seed and Suet update .

We had some sad news at Tilly’s . Our local supplier is no longer suppling our bird seed , suet and peanuts .

The loose seed which we sold in bags “ superior “ also contained mealworm and we sold at £2 a bag . It was made originally for Robins .

My new supplier can supply everything at a similar price . I cannot get a seed with mealworm without increasing price . Sadly will be £2.50 a bag . The good news it’s slightly better and contains mealworm and two types of high energy suet . Ideal for table , feeders and ground feeders . We have not increase Tilly’s mealworm seed since we opened . We cannot sell at lower price . We did get great discounts from our new supplier and pass on to or Tilly’s family.

Those who bought in Bulk it’s now smaller Bag 12.75 kg a bag at £23.79
a bag ( cheaper pardon the pun )
The smaller bag is much more manageable. Remember is a better quality as contains two type of suet . The ultimate energy boost for the garden birds this time of year .

We offer free local delivery. Pop in
Tilly’s or give us a call 01327 432927 .

Attracts Robins and Sparrows .

Five Little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said oh my, it’s getting late.
The second one said, there’s witches in the air.
The third one said, but we don’t care
The fourth one said, let’s run run run.
And the fifth one said, let’s have some fun .
Then woooo went the wind and out went all the lights.
And five little pumpkins rolled outside.

Hotdiggerdedog we have farm fresh pumpkins that are suitable to be eaten.

Remember some supermarket pumpkins are bitter and toxic and not suitable for eating. They are just ornamental. Just be mindful if you’re thinking to feeding supermarket ornamental pumpkins to humans or your pets. Might be worth reading up about toxins in punkins grown for Halloween before feeding to your pet .They or you can get very poorly. Golden rule do not eat a bitter tasting Pumpkin.

Play safe we sell 100% pure pumpkin powder at Tilly’s . Great for digestion , a**l gland , stops scooting and firm poops .

Here are some photos of
Our weekly woofers .
