*** NEW HOME FOUND 🏡🦜 ***

🤍🦜 Meet This Handsome White-capped Pionus! 🦜🤍

We have a lovely 4-year-old DNA-sexed male White-capped Pionus looking for his next chapter. 💙

This handsome chap was fully hand-reared and is semi-tame. He does seem to have a preference for the ladies! 😊

He hasn't had quite as much interaction over the last few months, so he may need a little time, patience and gentle encouragement to get back into his routine. With the right person willing to build a bond at his own pace, hopefully we'll see his confidence and personality shine through again. ❤️

🏡 He comes complete with:
🦜 His large Santa Marta cage
🧸 A whole box full of toys to keep him entertained

We're looking for someone who understands that every bird is an individual and that building trust can take time. If you're willing to give this lovely boy the attention and understanding he deserves, he could be a wonderful addition to the right home. 🥰

🎥 Watch the video to have a little look at him!

💔🦜 DAY 3 – STILL MISSING – PLEASE HELP US BRING POLLY HOME 🦜💔

We are now on day 3 of desperately searching for our much-loved galah, Polly, and we are still hoping and praying that she is out there somewhere and that we can get her home safely.

Since Polly went missing, we have searched extensively around the local area, including Cameron Drive, Lyncrest Avenue and the surrounding streets. We have checked the gardens between the houses, searched the overgrown alleyway thoroughly, and knocked on doors along Cameron Drive to ask residents to check their properties. Where nobody has answered, we have left notes asking them to look out for her.

We have searched local roads and trees, and we have been playing cockatoo calls from the garden and while out searching, hoping Polly might hear a familiar sound and respond. Polly responds really well to whistles, so please try whistling if you are out looking or think you may have spotted or heard her. Listen carefully for any response, too.

Her cage is still outside in the garden, ready and waiting for her to come home. We have posted across multiple local pages and groups, and all Northampton vets have been notified and have seen the missing bird posts.

Sadly, despite all our efforts, we have had no confirmed sightings, heard no calls from Polly, and she has not returned to the food we left out. 💔

We now have a better idea of the direction Polly flew, towards Cameron Drive and the junction with Lyncrest Avenue, and we are continuing to focus our search in the surrounding area. However, she could have changed direction or travelled further, so we are asking everyone nearby to please keep looking.

🙏 PLEASE, PLEASE CHECK YOUR PROPERTIES. If you live in the area, could you check your gardens, sheds, garages, rooftops and trees, including high branches and places where a bird could be hiding quietly? Please ask your neighbours to check too. Even if you haven’t seen or heard anything, please don’t assume she isn’t nearby.

Please share this post as widely as possible. Every share, sighting or piece of information could make all the difference. If you spot Polly, please contact us immediately, keep her in sight if possible, and don’t chase or frighten her.

Polly is a much-loved family bird, and not knowing where she is has been absolutely heartbreaking.

PLEASE HELP US BRING POLLY HOME. 💔

Please can you post or update original post. Many thanks

Mental health week 💛

I have learnt so much since owning and running a business but one of the biggest things I would have never thought about when this journey started to happen was how important bird's can be when it comes to mental health and all aspects concerning it. 🦜✨🌿 I have had the pleasure in helping so many people with various aspects and the change I have seen in customers that stay in contact is amazing. 🐦😊📈
Why I think a bird has a huge impact? 🌈🤔 I think there personalities, busyness, colours, responsibilities, energy, noise, companionship and being one of the only animals to have huge social skills. 🦜💫💛
If you are struggling with any challenges, such as anxiety, or if you have been considering welcoming a bird into your life but are unsure where to begin, please do not hesitate to reach out. 🕊️🌿✨ I am available to assist you via messenger or WhatsApp. 📱💬😊

I’ve decided to significantly lower the fees for these hand-reared Ringnecks and Alexandrines because my main priority is finding them the perfect forever homes. They are still young and definitely have that signature stubborn streak, but they are also incredibly clever birds with the potential to learn a huge vocabulary if they’re in the mood to show it off! 🦜🏠✨
