Warm, dry weather can leave hooves hard, brittle, and prone to cracking. To help keep your horse’s hooves healthy throughout the summer, make sure they have regular access to clean water, maintain a consistent hoof care routine, and avoid excessively dry conditions where possible.

Appropriate moisture levels can all help support strong, healthy hooves during the hotter months.
