Storm 🖤✨

This absolute beauty came into Pippins pawtique for a fresh start 🥰

Every dog that comes into my care is treated with kindness and without judgment. I will do anything in my power to help them feel and look their best, and their welfare always comes first. ❤️

Storm was unfortunately heavily matted in quite a few areas, so for her comfort and wellbeing, the kindest option was to clip her coat completely off.

I would never recommend clipping a double-coated breed unless medically necessary or in cases of severe matting, but in Storm’s case, it was absolutely the right choice for her welfare.

After the mammoth task of lifting, getting covered in fur and bathing & blowdrying it was 3hrs.30 mins later and she was all done. Storm had plenty of rest breaks and plenty of treats and water breaks. She was incredibly well behaved and so tolerant throughout the whole process — I’m incredibly proud of her! 🥰

Her owner has booked her in for a follow-up bath & brush appointment to help stimulate the hair follicles, and fingers crossed her beautiful coat grows back healthy and strong. 🐾❤️
