🌿 Appeal for a Secure Garden for Hedgehog Release 🦔 🌿
We are currently looking for a safe, secure garden to help with the soft release of either disabled hedgehogs or longer term rehabilitation hedgehogs before they return to the wild.
These hedgehogs need a period of close monitoring and supplementary feeding, so the right environment is really important.
What we’re looking for:
• A fully enclosed, mature garden (approx. 50m² – 100m²)
• Solid walls or fencing with no gaps at ground level
• Secure gates with no escape points
• No ponds, open drains, ramps, or use of pesticides
• Natural garden features – bushes, wild areas, and real grass (no artificial turf)
• Space for a hedgehog house/box
This is a wonderful way to support local wildlife and give a vulnerable hedgehog the best chance at a safe return to nature 💚
If you think you can help or would like more information, please get in touch!
Thank you for supporting our prickly friends 🦔
