We’d like to apologise for delays in getting back to phone calls and messages this week as we are currently a little short staffed.

🐾 Dog Bather Required – Absolutely Barking, Newtownabbey 🐾

Absolutely Barking is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dog Bather to join our busy, friendly grooming salon.

Duties will include:
🐶 Bathing and drying dogs of all breeds and sizes
🐶 Preparing dogs for grooming appointments
🐶 Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
🐶 Assisting the groomer when required
🐶 Providing excellent care and attention to every dog

The ideal candidate will be:
✔ Reliable and punctual
✔ Confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
✔ Hard-working and able to work in a fast-paced environment
✔ Friendly and professional with clients
✔ Previous experience preferred but not essential as training can be provided

This role would suit someone passionate about dogs who enjoys being part of a small, dedicated team.

Hours and pay to be discussed depending on experience.

☀️🐾 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 — 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 🐾☀️

With the warmer days on the way, please remember our dogs feel the heat much quicker than we do 💛

A few simple steps can help keep them safe and comfortable:

🐶 Walk early morning or later evening
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water
🔥 Check pavements before walks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
🚗 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
🌳 Make sure they have shade and time to cool down

Let’s all do our bit to keep our furry friends safe, happy, and healthy during the heat ☀️🐾

we said goodbye to beautiful wee Daisy 🌼💔
18 years young, and loved every single day of her life.

We’ve said it time and time again — our customers are fantastic, and we truly love our Absolutely Barking family. The bonds we build with both you and your furbabies mean the world to us, and when the time comes to say goodbye, our hearts break alongside yours.

We are so thankful to have been trusted to be a small part of Daisy’s long and happy life. From puppy years to golden oldie cuddles, it’s a privilege we never take for granted.

Run free over the rainbow bridge, sweet girl. 🌈🐾
You will be so deeply missed but never forgotten.

🐾 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 is so proud to be able to support these amazing girls on their journey. Watching their hard work, teamwork, and love for the game is inspiring, and we’re delighted to play a small part in helping create memories that will last a lifetime.

please be mindful of travel protests today, and leave enough time to get here for drop off and collection, … i cannot take dogs that are late to their appointments as it has a run off effect in groom time and bath time.!
