Buddy decided Monday and Tuesday was too exhausting so our next walk involved a lot to stopping and looking around, getting home deciding he couldn’t make it all the way over the sofa but did eventually to go straight to sleep 💤🤣💙

I absolutely love my job, the animals I care for become a big part of my life, I love them like I love my own, some move away, some no longer need my help and sadly some cross the rainbow bridge, I feel the sadness of the loss, I hurt because I’ve grown to love them so much and I often question when I’m so upset if this is the right job for me because it does hurt and I feel it a lot, but I realise it’s because I hurt this is exactly what I’m meant to do, I hurt because of the love and care I feel for each and every one of them
