Our Trekking Centre is situated adjacent to the entrance to Three Lochs Holiday Park, so be sure to pop in and book your sessions. Due to our fabulous location at the edge of the Galloway Forest there are boundless opportunities to explore the stunning
woods and forests along the tracks. Our flexible approach means that we can cater for your individual requirements. From slow, steady hacks for the

complete beginner or less confident rider, to canters and gallops for the more experienced. We have five horses of different sizes available to accommodate all age groups from children to adults, making this the perfect activity for all the family to enjoy together.

🌟 VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🌟

We’re looking for some new volunteers to join our team at the trekking centre due to a couple of our amazing girls leaving us soon! 🐴

As we head into another busy season, we’ve got a few spaces opening up and would love to welcome some new faces into our yard family.

If you love horses, enjoy being outdoors, don’t mind getting a bit muddy and fancy spending your time surrounded by great ponies and plenty of laughs, this could be perfect for you!

What can you expect?

🐴 Lots of hands-on horse experience
🐴 Being part of a busy yard environment
🐴 Learning new skills and building confidence
🐴 Making new friends
🐴 Endless pony cuddles
🐴 Riding in exchange for your help

This is a voluntary position, so we’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic people who genuinely enjoy being around horses and are keen to get involved in day-to-day yard life.

Our volunteers are a huge part of what makes the trekking centre so special and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who gives up their time to help.

Honestly, receiving this review this morning from this lovely family has completely blown me away.

Running this yard from the age of 16 (minus a short break in-between) has never always been easy and there have definitely been moments where I’ve questioned myself. So to hear words like that means more to me than I could ever properly put into words.

I’ve poured my heart into this place for years and seeing people appreciate not only the riding but the atmosphere, the care and the love behind everything we do is the most rewarding feeling ever.

I also couldn’t do any of it without my amazing girls who help at the yard. They are such a huge credit to this place and work so hard every single day. Their kindness, patience and dedication never go unnoticed and I’m so grateful for every one of them.

And of course, my horses… the real stars of the show. They make my job so much easier with their patience and personalities. Every single one of them plays such an important part in helping people grow in confidence and fall in love with riding and learning.

To everyone who supports us, rides with us, recommends us, leaves reviews, shares, likes and comments on our posts.. It truly means the world. 🤍

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you this means more than anyone will ever know. 🥰

⭐⭐⭐ Help save our Girl ⭐⭐⭐

Yesterday the team got some extremely bad news regarding one of our wee ponies, after the news had sunk in that she has a tumour and needs surgery to save her wee life and in-between the tears we have decided we need to give her the best chance possible and somehow raise the funds that she so desperately needs. Mocha is one of the sweetest, kindest and most gentle little pony who brings so much joy and smiles to all our young people's faces. So over the next few weeks we are planning to hold a number of fundraisers, it would mean the world to all of the team if we can raise enough to save her, we're planning a bingo night, a car boot and also some of the men involved with Phoenix have offered to get waxed. We won't have much time for advertising the events as time is crucial so if you do see any of our posts for events then please please share, and come and support if you can. We will be eternally grateful to everyone. Please help us save our girl.🐦‍🔥

I’ll be taking a break from responding to messages this evening and tomorrow to enjoy a day off, my phone hasn’t stopped 😆 not that I’m complaining! 😂

Some very big zzz’s were being had in the field this morning whilst Jack was on lookout, Popeye sounding more like an old tractor with his snoring 😂 very happy and content ponies covered in muck and having a snooze after their day off yesterday😂 ready for a nice warm shower today..😀🥰
