Fishing anyone?
Something a little bit different from my last few cakes.

Really enjoyed making this fishing themed cake for Julia's dad, who turned an incredible 80 years old!

Inside was good old fashioned Victoria Sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve.

Pretty in pink!

Scarlett is officially a teenager, she celebrated in style with this Plouise design cake and the best part is the inside.
6 layers of delicious vanilla sponge in rainbow colours, often the part the baker dosent get to see.

Clare sent me this photo, once she had cut into it. 😍

Some wedding cakes don't need to shout to steal the show... less is definitely more with this little beauty. 🤍

Congratulations to Rachel & Jamie, who celebrated their wedding on 11th July at the beautiful Wynyard. 🤍
This elegant two-tier wedding cake was finished with a flowing soft silk bow for a timeless, romantic look. 🤍

Inside, the flavours were just as special...

'Cheesecake Cake'

This is a cake with a bit of a difference, it has 3 layers of sponge and 2 layers of cheesecake filling, all wrapped in buttercream.

This was salted caramel throughout!
The sponge.
The cheesecake filling!
The filling was homemade salted caramel sauce.
