Thank you to the many, many clients who continue to treat our team with kindness and respect, it truly means the world to us 💖

Our team comes to work every day to care for animals with compassion, professionalism, and dedication. It is a very hard job and they deserve to feel safe, respected and supported in their work place.

Unfortunately we have recently experienced several incidents involving aggressive, verbally and written abusive, unacceptable behaviour towards our team.

We understand that emotions run high when your pets are unwell, there is never an excuse for abuse to be directed towards our staff. These people will be removed from our register to receive veterinary services elsewhere under our zero tolerance policy.

The vast majority of our clients are kind, patient, understanding, and supportive and we genuinely appreciate every one of you, so thank you - our focus is on you and your lovely little fur babies.

Caring for your pets is a privilege and we are proud to be part of this amazing community.

Sadly we have had a deceased black and white tuxedo male entire cat brought in today. He isn't microchipped and was found on Cobblers Hall Road. If you think you might know who he or his family is please get in touch so we can reunite him.

Yesterday, Dr. Sarah and Laurie RVN visited Durham High School to take part in their careers fair, giving students an insight into what it’s really like to work as a Vet.

The students had the chance to get hands-on with some practical activities, including bandaging, suturing, and even trying out some microscopy.

It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm from the young people there – we may even have met a few future Vets and Vet Nurses in the making! 🐾
