Lyra is 13 years old and, through no fault of her own, she is still looking for a forever home. No one has considered her yet. 💔

Everyone we have suggested her to worry's “What if I don’t have her for very long?”
“What if I have to say goodbye too soon?”

Lyra isn’t worrying about tomorrow. 🥺

She isn’t thinking about how many years she has left. She just wants someone to love her, give her a warm bed, a quiet home and make every day she has left count.

She is the sweetest old girl, and she deserves to know what it feels like to be truly loved in a home of her own. 🥹

There must be someone who can look past her age and think…

A HUGE congratulations to Hannah!

We couldn’t be prouder of Hannah, who has achieved TRIPLE DISTINCTIONS in her Level 3 Animal Care qualification! 🎓

Hannah is a fantastic example of the importance we place on learning, development and excellence here at Foredowne. All of our kennel staff either hold animal care qualifications or are currently working towards them, ensuring we are continually developing our knowledge and skills to provide the very best care for the dogs & cats in our care.

Hannah’s triple distinctions are a reflection of her hard work, commitment and enthusiasm for animal care, alongside everything she does here at Foredowne!

We have this black male Lurcher currently with us after he was found straying in the Newton Abbot area this morning.

Unfortunately, he is not microchipped. He is wearing a collar, but there is no ID tag, so we have no way of contacting his owner.

Every dog in this collage is currently looking for a home, and sadly, none of them have any current visitors or interest. 💔

They all have so much love to give and are just waiting for someone to see them, get to know them and realise they could be the perfect addition to their family. 🥰

At 10 years old, Sykes is looking for his retirement home, but please, don’t let his age put you off! ❤️ He may be an older gentleman, but he certainly hasn’t forgotten how to enjoy life. He is still full of character, energy and plenty of love to give.

Sykes has sadly had two home trials that haven't worked out. For this reason, he needs someone who has the time, patience and commitment to help him settle and feel secure.

He has so much life left to live and so much love to give. Could you be the person Sykes has been waiting for?

Please form an orderly queue… this handsome young man is Teach! 💙

Teach is a lovely, lively young boy with a cheeky, stubborn side! 😏 When he arrived with us, he was absolutely covered from head to toe in fleas, so he’s already had a rough start. Thankfully, he’s now getting the care and attention he deserves.

Teach is lacking some of the basic training, so he’s going to need a dedicated owner who is prepared to put the time and effort into helping him learn. He’s an energetic boy with plenty of personality. ❤️

He has been good with the dogs he has met here at the kennels, so we feel he could live with another dog, following careful introductions and assuming the match is right.

Could you be the dedicated home Teach needs?🏡❤️
