Yes, we know summer has only JUST finished… but apparently it’s never too early for Christmas!🎄😂

Our Christmas toy catalogue has arrived, and there is some VERY exciting stuff inside! 👀🎁

Kali was clearly taking her festive duties very seriously, sitting on Santa’s lap (AKA Lucy’s lap 😂) and carefully choosing everything on her Christmas wishlist 🐶🎅🏼

We’re not sure how much actual browsing was happening… but there were certainly plenty of cuddles, sniffing and very important toy discussions! 😂

Now we just need to make sure Santa gets the memo - Kali has been a very good girlie this year! 🎁🥰

They say good things come to those who wait… unfortunately for Kali, that meant getting spayed! 😂💙

This dear little sausage has had a bit of a funny time with her hormones and seasons, so we’ve had a couple of attempts at getting her in for surgery.

But, as they say… third time really is a charm! 🎉

Kali was an absolute dream girlie for her surgery, and once she was awake, she and Lucy had the BEST time enjoying some post-op cuddles 🥰🐾

Kali has been a tad under the weather after her surgery but thanks to her parents and the help of some intravenous fluids she is feeling a little bit better 🥰🐶✨

This handsome little fella came to see us for a vasectomy with our vet Alexia 🩺✨

Oh, dear Willow… 🥹💙

This gorgeous girlie came in to see us last week for her spay, and she was understandably VERY worried about the whole ordeal! 🥺

Willow was a true nervous Nelly when she arrived, but we soon discovered the way to her heart… one-on-one cuddles! 🥰🐾

As soon as it was safe to do so, Willow was back home to the safety of her mum (and Dad, who is apparently the favourite! 😂), where she could continue her recovery surrounded by all the familiar faces, comforts and cuddles she could possibly want 🏡🥰

We’re sure she much preferred home comforts over hospital life - although we hope she knows just how many cuddles she had waiting for her here! 💙🐶

Well done, Willow! You were such a brave girlie 🥹✨💙

This gorgeous girlie came in for her spay, and once she was safely awake from her anaesthetic, she decided it was time for the really important part of her hospital stay…

Today, nurse Rodney brings an important topic to discuss: the importance of routines.

“Now, I may seem very relaxed about life, but between you and me, most of us dogs are actually big fans of knowing what’s happening and when.

Predictability helps us feel safe, settled and much less worried about the world around us.

And honestly? Humans usually benefit from routines too. 🐶

Here are a few simple routines that can really help us stay happy and healthy:

⏰ Regular mealtimes, because staring dramatically at an empty bowl is exhausting work.

🐾 Daily walks and sniffing adventures, even if they’re short ones.

🎾 Consistent playtime and enrichment to keep our brains busy as well as our legs.

💤 A calm bedtime routine and a quiet place to snooze.

🩺 Keeping on track with health checks, vaccinations and parasite treatments, so there are fewer last-minute “Oops, I forgot!” moments.

September can bring a lot of “back to normal” changes, from school runs and busier mornings to more time spent at home alone. For us pets, these little shifts can feel quite big, so bringing routines back gently, with plenty of patience and reassurance, can really help us settle.

Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s nearly time for one of my routine naps.”

Halo is STUNNING! 😍 And what a super cat he was too! 🐱✨

Mum brought Halo in for a little weight check, as he was due some parasite treatment and it had been a little while since we’d last checked his weight.

He was an absolute dreamboat for us - calm, handsome and very confident! 🥰🐾

Although, we have to say, the photos really don’t do him justice - Halo is even more gorgeous in real life! 😍

As August comes to an end, we simply had to give this absolute pavlova masterpiece the appreciation it deserves! 🍓🍰💙

Our lovely nurse Emma whipped this up for Katie’s birthday, and let’s just say… the team did not hold back 😂
It was very, VERY well received - so much so that just a few days later, Dani was back in the kitchen creating pavlova number two for Lucy’s birthday! 🤭

Proof, if ever it were needed, that we’re not just a team who looks after our patients - we also take the important job of looking after each other (and eating cake) very seriously!🥰
