By far my smallest little group. Last week, I had the pleasure of looking after 6 gorgeous miniature ponies! 🐴
The ponies were given plenty of care, making sure they were happy, comfortable and well looked after. From daily checks and feeding to keeping their environment clean and giving them lots of fuss, I loved every minute of it! 🥰
It’s always a pleasure caring for these little characters🫶🏼

Hoilday cover with my favourite 5🫶🏼 For a few days this week!!

☀️ Looking after horses in this heat is so important!

The fields are getting so dry and dusty, with the grass struggling in this heat, so it’s even more important to make sure our horses have everything they need. Plenty of fresh, clean water, shade and regular checks are a must. ☀️
Keep an eye out for signs of overheating and try to avoid the hottest part of the day. A cool, quiet stable or shaded area can make all the difference.
These hot, dry conditions can be tough on our horses, so let’s keep those ponies cool, comfortable and hydrated. 💦
Stay safe everyone — two-legged and four-legged! ☀️

Another busy week!

I spent 2 days with my regular 4 horses, 3 days caring for 3 ponies and 2 horses while their owners were away on holiday, and provided 2 days of yard cover on a full livery. I also enjoyed spending a day at Garlidna.

It's always a pleasure helping to keep everything running smoothly and ensuring all the horses and ponies receive the best care possible🫶🏼😊

Sorry I've been a little quiet on here lately!

I've been super busy with holiday cover bookings as well as looking after all of my wonderful regular clients 🫶🏼

📅 I now only have availability left on the 17th and 18th of June for either holiday cover or regular work.

☀️🐎 What a glorious run of sunny days we’ve been having! It’s certainly been a busy week.

I started the week helping out on a livery yard, mucking out 8 stables and turning all the horses out for the day.
I then had the pleasure of looking after Poppy and Spanky for 3 days, as well as caring for Celia and Freya for 2 days, which included mucking out, Turing out , bringing, feeding and poo picking the fields.

There’s also been turnout visits for Bella, Jacob, and Arnie—with a lovely stroll out on Arnie too 🏇

To round off the week, I’ve been at Garlidna providing morning yard cover.
I’m so grateful to be kept busy doing what I love, especially in this beautiful weather ☀️💚
