A little update on my girl Indie❤️🐴

We’ve had the vet back out and she’s had more investigations, including scans and X rays, but unfortunately we’re still no closer to finding out what’s going on with her.

Her blood results are still a concern, and despite everything we’re doing to try and get her weight and muscle back on, we still don’t have any answers.

For now, she’s still bright, happy and enjoying her food, which is the main thing. She’s looking a little fuller over her bum, so hopefully we can keep building on that.

It’s frustrating not knowing what we’re dealing with, but we’re carrying on with everything we’re doing for her and taking each day as it comes. ❤️

Little stable upgrade 📹🐴

Finally got a camera set up in the stable so I can keep an eye on the girls from home ❤️

Indie is all groomed, fleeced up and tucked into her bed for the night 🥰

With everything going on with Indie at the moment, introducing a new face to the page hasn’t really felt right ❤️

But this girl has actually been here for two weeks already, quietly settling in and starting her next chapter with us

After a long time out of work, Ella has already started getting back into doing a few bits. It’s very early days, but every journey has to start somewhere 🐴

The girl that started it all. 💔

I never imagined I’d be writing a post like this about you, Indie.

You were the one who started it all, the one who made me fall in love with this journey, and the one who means more to me than words could ever explain.

Watching you lose weight and knowing something isn’t right, but not yet having the answers, is honestly breaking me. We’re doing the tests, asking the questions and trying to figure out what’s happening inside that body of yours. All I can do is take each day as it comes and pray we get some answers, and more importantly, some hope.

You’ve already been through so much in your life before you ever found your way to me. You deserved a life full of love, comfort and happiness, and I promised myself I’d give you that. I’m not ready for our story to end, not now, not like this. 💔

I will fight to the very end to get you better, girl. I’ll do everything I can for you, and I beg and pray with everything in me that you pull through this. I just want my girl back, putting weight on, feeling herself again and enjoying life the way she deserves to.

Please, just let us have more time. ❤️‍🩹

And just like that… Coppers off to his new adventure!🧡
Took him to his new home today and he was an absolute star from start to finish. He’s got the kindest person, comfiest stable, and fields to dream of 😊
My heart is full 🤍

Red and white gypsy cob gelding

Copper is a beautifully marked red and white gypsy cob with plenty of bone and feather. A forward thinking chap he is proving to be intelligent and straightforward and showing a keen attitude towards work. He has had a short break to mature and is now coming back into work. He can be slightly nervous but with handling and work this does go away.
He takes his confidence from his rider/handler, he can be strong in open spaces, nothing dangerous, he just likes to go fast 🏃‍♂️ For this reason he is only available to a confident teen or adult.

He has been long reined out on the towpath and has seen walkers, cyclists, dogs etc. Seen farm machinery, some traffic, sheep and other day to day items and goings on at the yard and nothing phases him. Lunges well in walk, trot and halt. Ridden out with more being done daily, snaffle mouthed, has not been silly, he is well balanced for his age.

Leads nicely and easy to be caught once you have developed some trust, turns out in a mixed herd, small group or alone and is sensible in each situation, equally happy to be stabled. Good to groom and bath, stands nicely for the farrier. He is a star with the dentist and has had his wolf teeth removed.

He has real potential to be a lovely coloured for the showing classes, could be broken to drive easy enough. Would equally be a great all rounder type to have some real fun on with a little more work put in, he really would do any job asked of him. Ready for someone to bring on as their own.

Couldn’t be prouder of this boy today 🥹❤️

Copper literally only just came back and I decided to throw him straight into the deep end 😂 Canal paths, busy roads, motorway traffic, a gallop track and everything else that comes with being out and about and he took it all in his stride!🐴👏

He was absolutely brilliant and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first outing. So proud of how he handled himself ❤️

And obviously we had to get a photo outside the house before heading home 😂
