🐒💚 Happy International Primate Day! 💚🐒

Today is all about celebrating our wonderful primate pals and we certainly have plenty of them to celebrate! 🥰

From the cheeky capuchins to our noisy gibbons, curious macaques and teeny-tiny tamarins, no two primates are quite the same! 🐒🌿

They’re clever, curious, social, sometimes VERY cheeky… and each one has a personality all of their own! 😂

Here at the Haven, we’re proud to give our rescued primates a safe place to call home, where they can be themselves, enjoy plenty of enrichment and spend their days doing what primates do best - eating, exploring, swinging and causing a little bit of mischief! 💚

Our gorgeous gibbon Bono is loving her upgraded space and seems more than happy to let us know about it with a beautiful song! 🎵🥰

And if you look closely, can you spot Kajan swinging in the distance? 👀

It’s wonderful to see them both exploring, climbing and enjoying the extra space. 💚🐒

The moment we’ve been waiting for… our Mueller’s gibbons are finally in their brand-new home! 🏡

A huge thank you to our amazing construction team for all their hard work in creating this incredible new home for our gibbons. 🔨💚

Also thank you again to everyone who helped make this happen. 🙌

🎉 RAISE THE ROOF APPEAL — Phase One COMPLETE!

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 🐒💚

After all the hard work, fundraising and incredible support, tomorrow we’ll finally be opening the doors and welcoming our Mueller’s gibbons into their brand-new home! 🏡🌿🐒

We honestly couldn’t have made this happen without every single person who donated, shared our appeal and helped spread the word. ❤️

Because of you, these beautiful gibbons now have a wonderful new home here at the Haven and we are SO excited to see them exploring, climbing and enjoying their new space for the very first time! 🌿💚

Thank you for helping us make their new home possible. 🥰
