Wight Vets

THANK YOU to all our wonderful clients who have spoiled us over the past two weeks with all these lovely cards welcoming us to our new home ☺️. The flowers, cakes and biscuits have meant the staff room kitchen has been stocked up from day one. Which has helped keep us all going as we continue to settle into our new home and find places for everything. You have all been wonderful. Thank you.

Some useful reminders re the hot weather.

☀️🐾 After a few cooler weeks, the heatwave is making a return. While many of us will be enjoying the sunshine, it's important to remember that our pets can struggle in hot weather.

A little extra care can go a long way. Make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, somewhere cool and shaded to rest, and never leave them in a car, caravan or conservatory, even for a short time.

Heatstroke can affect pets quickly and can be very serious. If you're worried about your pet's health, contact your vet for advice straight away.

Take a look through our tips to help keep your furry friends safe, happy and comfortable during the warmer weather. ❤️🐶🐱

Delightful to see these brothers at Chapel Street last week- they were so chill in their cat box their owner and I were laughing at their expressions! No sedation was used to achieve this photo- just happy chilling vibes. 😇
