On Sunday, Torvi & Wyatt visited a pop-up eye clinic in Kirtling to have their eyes tested before I make any future breeding decisions. ππΎ
Anyone who knows me will have heard me talk about the importance of health testing when breeding dogs. I see so many young dogs with behavioural issues that can be linked to underlying health conditions, some of which may be reduced or avoided through responsible breeding practices.
So, here I am practising what I preach!
Many thanks to James Oliver Veterinary Ophthalmology Canine Eye Testing for providing such an incredible service. The day was exceptionally well organised, low stress for the dogs, and very thorough. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering eye testing for their dogs.
Iβm delighted to say that both dogs passed with flying colours and achieved a Gonioscopy Grade 1. π₯³

Health testing is certainly an expensive process, but in my view itβs an essential investment in the future health and welfare of the breed.
