When the drugs hit the spot 💉🤣

All patients get a pre medication before surgery to help relax them & also provide a strong opioid pain killer. We want our patients to be as comfortable & stressfree as possible 😊

As you can see… it worked wonders for Donny 🤪

Poor Gertie found herself very poorly a few weeks back with ‘hemorrhagic gastroenteritis’ also known as HGE 🤒😢

HGE presents itself with profuse bloody diahorrea, often they are unwell in themselves, inappetent & lethargic 😔 The exact cause of HGE isn’t always known and can vary patient to patient.

Not all patients need hospitalisation, but for the very poorly ones they stay with us on intravenous fluids, antibiotics, anti-sickness & probiotics ❤️‍🩹

Gertie stayed with us for a few days until she was feeling much brighter in herself & back to wanting all her usual snacks 🦴🐾

Paddington here, just reminding all the humans that there’s a 72 hour prescription request period here at The House Vet 👋🏼🏡

Medications must be requested 72 hours in advance of when you need them, we know sometimes people run out, or accidentally forget to re order but please try to give us a minimum of 72 hours to refill that script ✉️

We do our best to make sure they’re ready asap, but we have cute kittens to cuddle so we need those 72 hours 😉
