Continuing to develop our skills and knowledge helps us provide the best possible support for our amazing Changing Lives Through Horses participants.

Understanding how to recognise signs of distress, respond calmly and create a safe, supportive environment is an important part of the work we do every day.

We are always looking for ways to learn, grow and make Quarry Farm a positive place where every young person feels supported and able to thrive! 🌟

What a huge achievement!!! 👏🏻

We are so, so proud of one of our amazing participants for achieving their BHSQ Level 2 Personal Development qualification! 🎉🐴

This is an Ofqual-regulated Level 2 qualification, equivalent to GCSE level (grades 4–9, or A–C under the old grading system), making this a fantastic achievement!

They have worked incredibly hard to get here, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have accomplished. 💚

🐴🏃‍♀️🎯 Pony club tetrathlon day! 🎯🏃‍♀️🐴

We are so excited to announce that we are running a Pony Club Tetrathlon Day! 🤩
This is going to be a big day of fun, challenges and trying something completely different for all our fabulous Pony Clubbers! 💪🐴

📅 28th October
🕑 10am – 3pm
📍Quarry Farm stables

💷 Just £45! This is a massively reduced rate because we want to make sure this is a day that all of our Pony Clubbers can enjoy! ❤️

🏅 Our Pony Clubbers will be working towards their Intro to Tetrathlon Badge!
This badge is a brilliant introduction to Tetrathlon, helping beginners learn the basic rules, preparation and foundations of all four phases.

And what will the day include? 👀
🐴 Handy Pony-style course, putting those skills to the test!
🎯 Target practice, time to see who has the best aim!
🏃 Running, get those legs moving!
🎉 And plenty of fun, teamwork and Pony Club
challenges along the way!

We are extending this out as a collaboration to other local centers as well! We want to see as many pony clubbers as possible 🤞

🌱 What an exciting first couple weeks of term!

Alongside their normal work, our fabulous Changing Lives Through Horses participants have been helping us build our brand-new kitchen garden! 🥕🌿

This gives our participants the opportunity to learn every step of the growing journey , from preparing and planting, all the way through to watching everything grow and eventually harvesting it! 🌱

We’re so excited to be growing all sorts of wonderful things, including vegetables, herbs and fruit from our brand new fruit trees! 🍎🍓🥕🌿

We can’t wait to see our garden come to life and watch everything grow! 💚

Seeing our participants thrive really is the best feeling!!

We are incredibly proud of one of our participants, who has been awarded a British Horse Society Certificate of Commendation through the Changing Lives Through Horses programme. 🐴❤️

This award recognises the exceptional progress, commitment and personal growth he has shown throughout his time with us.

It has been wonderful to watch his confidence, resilience and skills develop, and to see just how far he has come. This is such a well-deserved achievement and something he should be incredibly proud of.

We certainly are. ❤️
