Hi everyone as you know the HOME ALONE man is taking a week off for a rest before the return of our term time dogs, unfortunately we have no new spaces available for new customers at the minute and are unable to take on any new dogs in the near future due to ongoing commitments.

we are also looking to future proof the business and we are looking at the purchasing of suitable land for a private dog park and recreation area and leisure facility and indoor arena for those wet days within or close to Newcastle area.

as some of you know a while back, I was offered the opportunity to purchase the trading name and branding for a local canine hydrotherapy pool business PAWS 4 SWIM that had stopped trading and I jumped at the opportunity.

having seen the benefit of the hydrotherapy pool with my first dog Max that we used at Earlswood vets in Belfast and the enjoyment he got from it, I did not need any convincing to purchase the above branding and trading name.

In moving forward I am gifting all assets of HOME ALONE to the HOME ALONE TRUST meaning we can only receive weekly donations to the trust for time and energy as opposed to income and all donations stay within the trust and the trust reimburses me for daily expenses

This will allow us to fast track the project and allow the HOME ALONE TRUST to provide a bigger range of pet services on the one site.

Hi folks, bit of advance warning there will be no service from Friday the 21st of August until Monday the 31st of August and unfortunately there will be no weekend service for the entire month of August as I am taking some time off.

My mate Alfie heading for home after his home boarding, we are now closed from today the 10th of July until Monday the 20th July, happy Holiday to our furbabes and their parents the Home Alone man will still be available to message during this period.

All afternoon appointments are cancelled due to the extreme weather except for house calls which will continue as normal.

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder for Pet Owners 🐾🌡️

It’s a warm one today, so here are a few important reminders to help keep your pets safe in the heat ❤️

🐶 Avoid walking dogs during the hottest part of the day
💧 Make sure fresh water is always available
🌳 Provide plenty of shade and cool areas to rest
🚗 Never leave pets in parked cars — even for a few minutes
🐾 Check pavements with your hand before walks, as they can become dangerously hot

Flat-faced breeds, older pets and very young animals can struggle particularly badly in warmer weather ☀️

that's rollcall at the zoo complete for another night all cats and dogs accounted for, we have three guests in for home from home boarding this weekend in addition to my own crew, so it's good night from Henry, Sam, Willow, Maisey, Madge, Ginger, Garfield, Suki, Tigger, everybody now in the land of nod.
