Hi, I wonder if you can help, I’m contacting you from Wag and Company, North East Friendship Dogs, we enable professionally assessed volunteers and their lovely dogs to visit elderly people in their community that can no longer have a dog of their own. Newcastle dog owners, we need your help.
Mr E, 82, is widowed and lives on his own now in Newcastle. He and his wife always had dogs, their last was a Border Terrier and he’s loves them and really misses having one in his life.
For health reasons Mr E isn’t able to get out and about as much as he’d like so he spends a great deal of time alone at home. He would love to have some company and a dog to cuddle again. He says “all dog owners who volunteer for Wag must be wonderful”! He’s right of course!
