Its exciting times for the Ownaracehorse.co.uk shareholders as we, here at Susan Corbett Racing, have a double date at Hexham! First up tomorrow we have Cuillin Ridge a new boy to the yard having his first run for us after winning for his previous yard back in March. Its an Amateur riders race and the yards own Bekah Duffy will be in the saddle. It’s a stiff 2.4 at Hexham but we may find he needs further as his win came over 3 but on a flat course. Bekah will keep him handy in the race and be very positive riding him as he can be a little lazy at home! It will also point to what kind of ground he likes for the future.
Next week . on the 13th we have his stable mate Ebchester in his second National Hunt Flat race after being 4th in his first at Kelso. Hexham should suit as it should be a slower pace than Kelso – I would urge anyone wanting to get involved in racing to buy a share in these two exciting horses…
