Recently, some of you may have noticed our Yak display looking sadder than our bank account after a Costco trip 💸😩
That’s because our lovely original Yak supplier has moved on to new and exciting things, and is therefore no longer suppling Yak bars 😞
⏩ Fast forward to our hunt for a new supplier… Because let’s be honest, after all that time and stress it took to build that bloody display, there was NO WAY it was heading to IKEA heaven 🪦😫
👍🏻 So the good news:
We’ve found a new supplier 🙌🏻 So we can now provide the same sizes, same flavours, all the good stuff as before!
👎🏻 And now the bad news:
Thanks to a tiny communication mix-up (tell me you’re neurodivergent without telling me you’re neurodivergent 🫣)… The order we thought we were making in bars… Was actually being made in kilos…
Yep… KILOS… HUNDREDS OF KILOS OF YAK BARS😳🤣
🏊 So with having enough Yaks to practically fill an Olympic sized swimming pool… A serious brainstorming session at GBHQ was needed! 🧠
1️⃣ We ruled out Option 1… Open the UK’s first all-you-can-chew Yak buffet 🍽️
2️⃣ And Option 2 (making them into some sort of elite Yak-based nunchucks for extreme dog enrichment 🥋)had to be shelved due to insurance reasons 🙄
3️⃣Which leads us to the more boring, yet practical Option 3…
🐾 We’re planning to offer them in bulk at a discounted price to wholesale customers 🤜🏻🤛🏼
