Hope everyone’s had a great back to school week! Sorry for being so quiet this week! Just want to say thank you to everyone for being so patient with me this week with the staggered starts with the kids! We’ve been trying to persuade Laura to do the customer service while I’m not there, maybe next week 🤣 so sorry for anyone that’s had to put up with happinesses face instead 🤣 massive shout out to Michael and Laura though for keeping everything going! We’ve been so busy and it’s lush have the daycare dogs back that are normally off over the half terms! I’ve got so many photos to post so I’m going to post them all over the weekend! Sorry not sorry for the pooch spam incoming 🥰 we still got staggered starts next week so going to sort appointments out tonight and tomorrow for anyone that’s messaged! So I may have mentioned it 😬 but this year I will be doing the Great North Run for the first time. I will be completely honest with you. I’ve never even ran for a bus so this is a big challenge. There’s a good chance you’ll be watching it on the tele and see a fat lass getting carted off in a ambulance and go “eee is that wor Sam” 🤣 but I’m going to give it my best shot!

I’m going to be running for Breast Cancer Now a charity that is very close to mine and my family’s heart. My nana Rosie was first diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 40. She recieved radiotherapy but unfortunately it came back and she had to have a mastectomy of her right breast. My nana suffered with other health problems in her life, predominantly Parkinson’s Disease but many years later the breast cancer came back in her left breast but this time it had spread to her lymph nodes in her armpit. Gradually it spread to her other organs and sadly took her away from us. My nana Rosie was my hero. I spent nearly every day of my life seeing her and my grandad, it would have to be a very rare occasion for me not to see them. We would spend hours and hours singing together and that’s what I miss most.

I would be so grateful for any donations no matter how small to help raise money for a charity that helped with treatment for my nana 3 times in her life. And I’m just hoping she’s up there singing me along on the day!
