Much better behaved today! Lovely comments in the collectives and now just need to engage power mode.

Well done Team Chapman Equestrian for beating me. Twice. 🤣

Very proud of Lauren yesterday completing her first advanced medium on her home produced Meena. Also, the first person I have helped beyond medium!

Bits to work on which we knew but we had a collapsing timeframe as Lauren is being even more amazing doing this with baby 2 on board!

Congratulations Mrs. So pleased for you and proud of your achievements.

Long post warning!
Home from forces equine games and it’s been a challenging weekend (no sympathy sought, just being honest)
I’ve not been feeling the best and doing my usual of ignoring it, but had a bit of a melt down this weekend to the point I’d packed up my stables and was set to leave on Saturday.
Work, house all getting on top of me. People showing side of them you did not expect and upsetting me. Fortunately all about to calm down but came to a head.
A busy venue challenged the boys as we never really see busy shows. NO phone signal stressing me out as had loads I needed to catch up on. Bodhi was super tense but managed to get through our tests, not to the level of work we can get, for fourth in the elem (costly break in the medium trot and very tense in walk) and 3rd in medium.
Tests not helped by the arena eventing coming through a water splash at the top of the dressage arenas!
Wills tried very hard and suffered from no chance to ever really work him in as horses so close together. 3rd in adv medium (just 0.5% behind winner once I added my sheet up again, and his entire walk work was super tense due to someone deciding to drive their wagon out during a test)

The comedy moment was taking the dogs for a walk, getting lost, covering almost 11kms and having to flag someone down to direct me back (no phone as it was on charge)
Not a great weekend, but probably a valuable one in the long run. Quiet day for the boys then we regroup and carry on. Thank you to all the lovely people that supported me and tried to cheer me up. Very much appreciated.
