We’ve also been stupidly busy. You’d think the footerball and sunny weather would quieten things down, but no. Orders have had us flat out.

There’s been very little time to design new boards (see further down), but we managed three tiddlers to make this latest mammoth restock order seem more worthwhile.

Why no board design time?

After ten years on the waiting list we got a large allotment at the top of the street. Needs a lot of work and has a highly dangerous shed that defied the laws of physics. Also has bees nesting underneath so that can’t go anywhere as yet.

And there’s been a wedding to organise. Yay us. Pretty much sorted now though, so the PCB switch may be reflipped soon.

New store listings should be posted next week.

Well that was a right old fiddle on. Good news is that after several days of tweaks with DNS and SSL, the store should be fully functional, more secure and faster.

If you’re still getting errors when trying to access it’ll be down to cached data in your browser. If the URL is showing as www.shop…. then that’s the issue. Clear the site-specific data and you’re good to go.

Well this sucks.

We had a notification that DNS records needed updating as the store system was doing something or other. I really should have come back and checked all was OK but I was likely distracted by something shiny.

Upshot is the store has been down for at least 16 hours and counting.

Fear not. It’ll be back once we work out WTF.

Apologies for socials silence for a couple of weeks. A very necessary week of sun and pool in Tenerife, then a week of catching up on orders meant time for little else. Oh, and getting an allotment after ten years on the waiting list which is in a sorry state. Anyway, the work decks are cleared, so onwards. Nothing much to show, but on digging out a few old books I was telling my daughter about I also came across this. It has a few of the first circuits I ever out together. Going in for a look…

Heads up. It’s almost May school holiday overpriced week in the sun time. Working as normal all this week (though no post collection on Thursday), which means orders in by 10am Friday if you want anything to land next week.

Back to normal Monday 1st June, hopefully with a tan and for sure an expanded waistline.

Fred Briggs’ Invading Cannibal Ladybirds is a big enjoyable mess of a thing. Distortion into delay with starve, filtering, feeeback and oscillation. What’s not to love?
