What a fantastic day at Northumberland County Show at Bywell. Record crowds and great weather. A great chance to meet up with friends I'd not seen for 3 years.

5thJuly 2019 saw 1700 children from the North East descend on South Shields beach to take park in the Children North East Sandcastle Challenge. The weathermen from BBC (Paul Mooney)left and ITV (Ross Hutchinson) right, where both judges.

Schools from Morpeth and Alnwick have adopted two new hybrid vehicles at Daft As A Brush which were donated by the COOP. Swansfield 'Pick-You-Up' has been adopted by Swansfield Park Primary School in Alnwick and Shimmering Heart' has been adopted by Abbeyfields First School in Morpeth. Brilliant fundraising by the COOP to enable these two vehicles to be bought.
